Glow Hockey is a very popular arcade/sports game, which does not require any kind of social media account to play. You can start the game and select the game mode that you want to play in. The goal of Glow Hockey is to face your opponent in a match of air hockey, where you have to use your paddle to shoot the puck into his or her goal. After you shoot the puck in your opponent’s goal, you will receive a point. There is no limit to points that you can earn, which means that you can continue playing until you are tired of the game. Other than the different difficulty settings, there are no obstacles or something like that. Even though the gameplay sounds easy, it’s far from that. Your opponent will usually trick you and you will concede many goals, but after a bit of practice, you will be able to stop many of your opponent’s attacks.
Glow Hockey has two game modes. The first one is the single player game mode, which has four different difficulties. In the single player mode, you will play against the computer. How good the computer plays against you, depends on which difficulty you select. The four difficulty settings are called Easy, Medium, Hard and Insane. It is advised that you start playing Glow Hockey selecting the Easy difficulty, and gradually work your way up. The second game mode is called two players, which is the multiplayer game mode of Glow Hockey. When you select the “two players” game mode, you will be able to play against a friend or a family member, on the same mobile device. It is only possible to play the two players game mode on a device with a larger screen, due to the fact that you will have to see where the puck is going.
You can change the colors of the paddles, the puck and enable or disable the particle special effects by going to the settings within the game. You can change the colors to red, yellow, blue and green. You can also turn the in-game sounds and the vibration on or off.
Glow Hockey does not have any currencies in the game, which also means that there is no in-game store. The only goal you have in Glow Hockey, is to use your paddle and shoot the puck into your opponent’s goal. This will give you a point, but nothing other than that. There is no limit to how many goals you can score or concede. The game states that it is the free version, but apparently there is no paid version available. This means that you will not be able to remove the many advertisements that are implemented in the game, or unlock more features by spending money on Glow Hockey.
